Kazakhstan is firmly on the path to building a legal and democratic state. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated this at a meeting with Francesco Depasquale, President of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ). In turn, Depasquale expressed readiness to cooperate in ensuring human rights and enhancing the efficiency of the justice system, while also positively assessing the legal reforms being implemented in Kazakhstan. The Head of State also met with Luis Maria Palma, President of the International Association for Court Administration (IACA). They emphasized the importance of close cooperation among judicial bodies and the exchange of experiences in modernizing the justice system and digitizing legal proceedings. Luis Maria Palma highlighted the need for other IACA members to study Kazakhstan’s experience.
