Kazakh and Japanese
experts will jointly study recent earthquakes that occurred in the Almaty
metropolis to develop effective strategies for risk prevention in the future.
Notably, Japanese specialists are set to share their experience in seismic
safety at a seminar in Almaty not only with Kazakh seismologists but also with
representatives from other countries in Central Asia and the Caucasus. They
will also touch upon advanced technologies and standards in seismic isolation,
as well as discuss cooperation in the construction of resilient buildings.
