Car rally held in Kazakh capital to mark Republic Day

A car rally dedicated to Republic Day was held in the Kazakh capital. Motorists in 30 cars, following a good tradition, drove along the main streets of Astana. In total, they covered about 30 kilometers in their vehicles,  each adorned with the country’s sky-blue flag. According to the participants, this festive caravan became a symbol of patriotism that united the city’s residents in their aspiration to strengthen national values and unity. The organizers noted that the event attracted significant attention from the public and youth. It bears noting that similar motor rallies will take place in all regions of the country.

«Today’s car rally aims to demonstrate to the residents and guests of the city the scale of the Republic Day celebrations. Therefore, the cars will not only participate in a procession but also carry our national flag through the most beautiful places in the city. Another of our main goals is to promote the main national symbols among the population,» said Tastemir Akulan, the head of the department, Youth and Family Affairs Committee.

«Today we celebrate Republic Day, one of the grandest occasions in Kazakhstan. I extend my congratulations to every resident and guest of the country on this holiday. These events should be held as often as possible so that people remember, honor, and celebrate them. Today, we proudly drive in a column with Kazakhstan’s national flag displayed on our cars. This is our country, and we are ready to raise the sky-blue flag at every event; it is our pride,» noted Anatoly Bondar, President of the Astana Automotosport Federation.
