Kazakhstan’s capital does not lose its investment attractiveness. Four major projects in the food and construction industries are being implemented in Nur-Sultan now. These are strategically vital sectors of the economy. They will strengthen food security and increase the volume of import substitution. The total cost of the projects in the capital is more than 19 and a half billion tenge. Among other things, a plant for the production of small-pieces concrete items will appear in the city next year. Its capacity will be 132,000 tonnes products per year.
“There were also projects on the food production complex. It includes a dairy, a bakery and a vegetable store. Overall, these projects will create nearly a thousand jobs, reaching full capacity. We are planning to launch a number of other projects until 2025. 5,000 jobs will be created in total,” said Yerbol Kanafin, Deputy Chairperson of Astana Invest.
An aerated concrete production plant is planned to be put into operation next year. It will produce 100,000 cubic meters of products per year. A manufacturing base with a logistics center will be launched in 2024. It is set to produce 100 tonnes of semi-finished products, 30,000-40,000 textile and up to 50 pieces of furniture per month.
