The Management Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
has been established in Kazakhstan. The official opening of the new educational
institution, attended by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, took place as part of
the Law and Order week announced by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The
Academy is equipped with a digital laboratory, a digital solutions classroom, a
remote patrol vehicle monitoring platform, AI-powered traffic safety analytics,
robotic equipment and smart glasses. The curriculum is focused on developing
management competencies and adopting modern approaches. Each year, over 100
individuals will be trained for leadership positions, with an additional 30 enrolled
in master’s and doctoral programs. The first cohort, consisting of personnel from
regional police departments, has already begun training.
«Law enforcement officers who have experience, a record of
achievement, and clear professional goals join the Academy. I am confident that
the educational institution will become a strong platform for training managers
who are well-adapted to modern demand, including international-level
specialists. It is here that the foundation will be laid for future reforms, effective
teamwork, and intellectual support for the entire law enforcement system,» Bektenov
said.
