In this episode, we will cook two dishes – Asqabaq Tabaq, a pumpkin Platter, and Qattama flatbreads. The first dish, Asqabaq Tabaq, is prepared mainly from horse meat and baked pumpkin. The Kazakhs used pumpkin as cookware during nomadic movements, so it could completely replace the cauldron. Horse meat stewed inside a pumpkin gets completely soaked in its juice and becomes very soft and tasty.
