Culture has no borders – a message conveyed at
a recent gala concert in Thailand that introduced local audiences to Kazakh art
and culture. Spectators enjoyed a variety of performances, including authentic
Kazakh dances such as the Akku, which captivated them with its grace and poetic
expression. Other dances, including Arular, Kerbez Sulu, and Kara Zhorga,
further enchanted guests with their expressiveness and the stunning variety of
national costumes. A total of 200 young artists from the Thai ensemble Katyusha
took the stage, showcasing their unique interpretation of Kazakh choreography.
The sound of the Kazakh dombyra immersed the
audience in the atmosphere of the boundless steppes. Notably, the concert
gathered over 500 attendees - diplomats, employees of international companies,
and residents of Thailand.
«This evening is special and important for Kazakhstan.
We have an excellent opportunity to showcase our culture and traditions. This
event will mark the beginning of friendship, mutual understanding, and a
cultural bridge,» said Kazakh Ambassador to Thailand Arman Issetov.
