Filming of the Kazakh military drama ‘Summer 1941’ came to an end in Belarus. The movie is dedicated to the Second World War and the ancestors who fought against the fascist invaders. Shooting took place in the former battlefields. The partisan detachment of Adi Sharipov, the main character of the film, was well known both to the Belarusians and to the Germans during the war years. The film will tell why Sharipov’s detachment was considered elusive. The premiere of the film is scheduled for December this year.
“We have steppes, mountains, lakes, and deserts in Kazakhstan. But the events took place in Belarus, in its nature and landscape. Accordingly, the truth of life must be on the screen. Therefore, we came to Belarus,” said Tasbolat Meretenov, General Producer of film.
