The first flight in the history
of Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation was made by an all-female crew. Pilot instructor
Adelina Lutsenko and Civil Aviation Academy student Yekaterina Styopina took
off from the airfield in Taraz on a single-engine training aircraft. Lutsenko
had previously undergone certification by the European Aviation Safety Agency
(EASA) in Spain. She is an international-class pilot instructor.
