The ATP 250 international
tennis tournament is underway in Almaty and will run until October 20. Popular
Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen performed at the event’s opening ceremony. Notably,
players from the top 30 of the world rankings are participating in the
large-scale tournament. Among them are Americans Frances Tiafoe and Sebastian
Korda, Chilean Alejandro Tabilo, Frenchman Arthur Fils, and others. Kazakhstan
is represented by Alexander Bublik, Alexander Shevchenko, Mikhail Kukushkin, Beibit
Zhukayev, and Denis Yevseyev.
