Development of regional cooperation in the field of introduction of innovative solutions in public administration - the work of the international conference on digitalization kicked off in Nur-Sultan. It is attended by over 70 representatives of government agencies and organizations from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, the U.S., Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The two-day meeting participants will not only share their experience and views on the further development and transformation of public administration in Central Asia, but will also present the results of the conducted research. According to experts, they will help to develop more effective and modern approaches to the digital transformation of the Central Asian states, which will improve the efficiency of public administration and the level of citizens' trust in the government decisions.
“At the very beginning, we held several online seminars to give participants from different countries a better understanding of the experiences of Korea, Singapore and Estonia - countries that are leaders in this area. The advantage of this event is that the attending representatives of the countries themselves write a project aimed at implementation in their own country. This conference has practical value. Today's event brought together all those people who are responsible for the implementation of digital transformation in the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus, with the exception of Turkmenistan,” said Alikhan Baimenov, Chairperson of the Steering Committee, the Astana Civil Service Hub.
“Kazakhstan’s experience would be useful for this region in the implementation of digital transformation. This is a regional study, and this is a crucial part, because we have some peculiarities that are unique only to our region. That’s why it’s very important,” said Indira Sharshenova, Kyrgyz Deputy Minister of Digital Development.
