Astana is preparing for the main
event in the field of IT technologies in the region. The Digital Bridge forum will be held in the
Kazakh capital on October 12-13, traditionally with the participation of Kazakh
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The event is expected to bring together the
best international and domestic industry experts, venture capitalists, leaders
of global IT companies and talented startup developers. The latter will have a
unique opportunity to declare themselves, meet representatives of large and
medium-sized businesses and state corporations as well as discuss potential cooperation
at a special Pitching Zone. The Digital Bridge forum is organized by the Kazakh
Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry, the Astana
mayor’s office and the Astana Hub International Technopark.
“This year, the main theme of the
forum is the right balance between artificial and human intelligence. As last
year, at least 20,000 visitors are expected to attend the event, including President
Tokayev, members of the government, national companies, venture capitalists,
startup developers and IT companies. The exhibition will feature more than 200
projects. It will be very interesting to get acquainted with them, get some inspiration
as well as attend panel discussions and masterclasses with the participation of
speakers from over 25 countries. For the first time in Kazakhstan, the Google
for Startups forum, featuring top managers of the world’s leading companies,
will be held as part of the Digital Bridge forum,” said Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of
Astana Hub International Technopark of IT startups.
