More
than 800 Kazakh families have received new homes and apartments to replace
those destroyed by floods. Also, over 4,500 families have received compensation
for repairs and restoration, totaling 57 billion tenge. Overall, nearly
237 billion tenge is required for housing reconstruction. Today,
Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev reported to President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev on the government’s efforts to eliminate the consequences of the
disaster and assist the affected. Meanwhile, residents of
several regions continue to receive one-time payments, and work
is
underway to compensate affected businesses for damages.
