A Defense Industry Complex
Development Fund has been established in Kazakhstan. The corresponding decree
was issued by the country’s government. The state’s full participation in the
fund’s authorized capital, which will be formed from the funds of the state
budget in the amount of over 265 million tenge, is envisaged. It is noteworthy
that the fund’s main goal is to provide financial support for domestic
scientific and technical developments and the modernization of organizations in
the defense industry complex. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has
previously emphasized the prospects for the development of this industry and
called for comprehensive support for domestic companies specializing in the
defense industry.
