The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan (APK)
actively promotes the basic principles of a multinational state – peace,
harmony, and unity. Participants of the 34th session of the Assembly spoke about
the results of work over 30 years. Representatives of ethnocultural centers
support the President’s words about the importance of strengthening new public
ethics. It is carried out through the promotion of the Adal Azamat concept – a
responsible and conscientious person guided by justice. It is also based on the
principle of Law and Order as the foundation of a sustainable society.
«Our youth are luckier than us – no one
told us these things before. We learned all the basics of the essence of the Assembly
on our own. Today, we are able to pass on this experience to the younger
generation – experience in how to live in peace and harmony in our society,»
shared Danilbek Saratov, Chairman of the «Vainakh» Chechen-Ingush ethnocultural
association in the West Kazakhstan region.
Initiatives, projects, and actions – the APK
never stands aside, always responding to the country’s most pressing
challenges. For example, last year, during the spring floods, more than 12,000 volunteers
under the Assembly’s coordination collected humanitarian aid and participated
in the restoration of destroyed houses.
«As aksakals, we try to instill patriotism
in young people and contribute to strengthening the country’s unity. As part of
the Salauatty Sana public project, we hold events aimed at combating bad
habits, gambling addiction, domestic violence, and vandalism. Over 30 years of
work, the APK has ensured the consolidation and integration of ethnic groups
based on Kazakhstan’s identity and citizenship,» said Zupparkhan Chaldanov,
Chairman of the Council of Aksakals of the Uzbek ethnocultural association in
the Turkistan region.
