Almaty is becoming a logistics
hub, with active construction of warehouse facilities. Experts from Bright
Rich/CORFAC International predict that their number is set to double by 2027.
By the end of 2024, over 105,000 square meters of warehouse space will be
commissioned in the city, marking a 75 percent increase compared to last year.
In 2025, the volume of new space is expected to grow nearly threefold compared
to 2024, exceeding 285,000 square meters. The total projected volume of
completed construction in Almaty and the Almaty region for 2024-2027 could
reach around 700,000 square meters. According to analysts, the scale of
construction will nearly double the existing warehouse space in the metropolis,
which currently stands at 760,000 square meters.
