President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the international technology exhibition GITEX AI
Central Asia & Caucasus. There, he got acquainted
with the capabilities of the Al-Farabium supercomputer. Dozens
of projects operate on its basis. One of them is
an AI assistant in the contact center of Kazakhtelecom. It processes customer
inquiries, detects fraudsters, and forwards information to an anti-fraud
center, ensuring the protection of citizens. The President was
also briefed on projects in the banking system, including the ecosystem of
digital assets, the development of crypto hub infrastructure, and the issuance
of tokens based on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange. The Head of State was also presented with digital projects
in transport and logistics, namely, the KEDEN information systems for optimizing customs
control processes, and SmartCargo, a unified digital window for logistics
services. He also reviewed Almaty’s IT
ecosystem and the digital solutions being implemented in education, security,
and urban management. The President was also introduced to the first children’s
science museum in Central Asia.
