Ahead of the Nauryz holiday, a tree-planting campaign has
begun in the Turkistan region. This year, more than one million seedlings are
set to be planted, with over half scheduled for this spring. The large-scale
greening initiative is being implemented across all districts of the region,
involving young people, pensioners, and government employees. Among those eager
to green their village are residents of Atbulak in the Kazygurt district, who
actively supported the initiative, purchased seedlings, and joined forces to
plant them.
«Overall, everyone is making a contribution, regardless of
age. Everyone who has the strength to work is here. I want to express my
gratitude to all! We are setting an example for the younger generation. If we
don’t take care of our homeland ourselves, no one will do it for us,» said the Honored
Artist of Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Ibragimov.
