Tashkent of the 21st century grows and expands, but at the same time it preserves the ancient architecture. This is the madrassah of Barak Khan. It was built by the son of Suyunshi Khan Barak Khan.
The madrasah is two-storied.The building is 703 meters long and 44 meters wide. There is a lecture hall in the madrasah, there was a library in the courtyard, as well as rooms for reading the Koran. In 1868, during the earthquake, the dome of the madrasah fell, and the walls were also damaged. Later it was all restored. Now this place has become a tourist destination. And in the former halls, now artisans work.
