Turkmenistan has begun
exporting ice cream to international markets. The first shipment, featuring
caramel, chocolate, and cream flavors, has already been sent to the United Arab
Emirates. According to representatives of the manufacturing company, the
desserts are made from natural ingredients such as milk, cream, sugar, and
caramel. The factory is one of the largest in the region, producing up to 16–17
tonnes of ice cream per day. Its product range includes more than 60 varieties
of ice cream with diverse flavors. In addition, the enterprise produces up to
45 tonnes of dairy products daily, including cheese and yogurt. It also produces
meat, sausage, and confectionery products, which are exported to more than 15
countries. Among them are Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan,
Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Vietnam, India, Afghanistan, and Mongolia.
«Confectionery
products, chocolate, and ice cream intended for export undergo more rigorous
inspections. This is necessary to ensure their durability
and ability to withstand transportation without damage. For frozen products in
particular, it is critical to maintain a temperature between -30 and -35
degrees Celsius in specially equipped vehicles until they reach their
destination. Thanks to their quality and the Halal certification, these
products are in high demand both in domestic and international markets,» said Serdar
Khojageldiev, head of the enterprise’s laboratory department.
