President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid a working visit to Omsk, where he and Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in the 22nd Kazakhstan–Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum. The two leaders discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation, including trade and economic ties, transport and logistics infrastructure, digitalization, and the implementation of innovative technologies. During the visit, President Tokayev also honored the memory of the veterans of the Great Patriotic War by visiting the Omsk Veterans Hospital and taking part in a memorial ceremony. The visit also included bilateral talks and discussions on further strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.
