Robots have mastered Kazakh national games.
In the Turkistan region, smart machines help schoolchildren play assyk atu, a
traditional game of knocking out knucklebones. They arrange the bones in a row
on a special platform. However, skilful teachers still explain the game basics
to children. They note that assyk atu is not only exciting but also beneficial
for developing accuracy, agility, and hand motor skills. Students admit that
the game has become even more interesting with these mechanized assistants.
«Children play assyk atu during breaks. The
game allows them to spend their energy properly and productively, as well as foster
friendships. It also helps in the development of logical thinking and agility,»
said Ismatulla Usmanov, chairman of the Fathers Council of the Saryagash district
in the Turkistan region.
