KAZ Minerals Bozshakol currently exports its
finished products to China, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, and Belgium. The enterprise
produces not only copper but also gold, silver, and zinc concentrate. During
his working visit to the Pavlodar region, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov was
briefed on the technological features of the enterprise, where 30 million
tonnes of ore are processed annually. Modern technologies are being implemented
at the Bozshakol mine, including the development of artificial intelligence
systems, production process modeling, and the active use of drones for 3D mine
modeling.
«The most important thing for the group is to
focus on processing and higher-value production. The Tax Code provides
incentives for those who produce high-value products, resulting in lower taxes.
All efforts are aimed at stimulating
this, as it will ensure that significantly more money stays within the country.
Currently, many countries are developing processing industries based on
Kazakhstan’s raw materials,» Bektenov said.
