Tokayev held a meeting with Aysen Nikolayev, the head of the Sakha Republic,
emphasizing the positive dynamics in bilateral relations, evidenced by a
significant increase in trade turnover. Among the promising areas of
cooperation between the countries are agriculture, mining, digital
technologies, and tourism. Tokayev welcomed the holding of the Days of the
Republic of Sakha in Kazakhstan, which will include cultural and sporting
events, as well as a presentation of Yakutia’s investment and tourism potential
in the cities of Astana and Almaty. Nikolayev extended support for the people
of Kazakhstan and wished for the speedy overcoming of the challenges caused by
the floods.
