80 athletes will represent
Kazakhstan at the 33rd Summer Olympic Games in Paris. The national team has
secured 92 licenses across 25 sports for the quadrennial main event. President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the country’s Minister of Tourism and Sports
Yermek Marzhikpayev, who reported on the preparations for the upcoming
competitions and the work to enhance sports management institutions. The Head
of State noted the great responsibility that the Olympic Games place on
athletes, emphasizing that the Kazakh national team should serve as an example
of culture, resilience, and professionalism. It is worth noting that the
competitions will begin in 17 days.
