This year marks the 85th anniversary of the
renowned Kazakh poet and national writer Fariza Ongarsynova, whose work has
left an indelible mark on Kazakh literature. Her poems, novellas, and stories
gained immediate popularity, not only within the country but also abroad. In
honor of the prominent author’s anniversary, an evening dedicated to her life
and work was held in the capital. Writers, artists, students, and
schoolchildren took part in the event. The younger generation had the
opportunity to explore Fariza Ongarsynova’s legacy and recite her works in
their own interpretation.
«Fariza Ongarsynova’s works are filled with
wisdom, reflecting feelings such as love, a profound reverence for nature, as
well as unwavering patriotism and respect for her homeland. The values she
conveyed merit deep study. During her lifetime, we organized significant events
and had the privilege of interacting with her personally. I believe that this
event held at the museum is crucial for understanding her legacy. Through her
works, many essential lessons and life values can be passed on to future
generations,» noted Gulzhan Zhumasheva, Professor at the Kazakh National
University of Arts.
