Deputy Chairman and Head
of the Secretariat of the Kazakhstan Khalyk Kenesi (People’s Council) Kanatbek
Zhaisanbayev briefed President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the establishment of
the Kazakhstan Khalyk Kenesi and its Secretariat. The Secretariat will provide
organizational, legal, logistical, financial, and information-analytical
support for the activities of the Kazakhstan Khalyk Kenesi. President Tokayev
noted that the Khalyk Kenesi will become a unique platform for dialogue,
playing an important role in building a Just Kazakhstan. The Head of State
instructed to ensure effective coordination between the Khalyk Kenesi and
government agencies, public institutions, and international organizations, as
well as thorough preparations for its first session.
