Uzbekistan hosts the first Lazgi International Dance Festival. The UNESCO included the dance in the list of intangible cultural heritage of mankind. The bright style of performance brought the dance popularity all over the world. Masters and amateurs of choreographic art, art historians and cultural figures from 30 countries participate in the competition. About 170 artists will compete for the main prize. Kazakhstan will also take part in the even0074 and will be represented by the Ak Kerbez dance group.
“First of all, our dancers represent national values. At this festival we will perform four dances. Choreographic art has the power to unite different countries and cultures,” said Aida Smagulova, Artistic Director of Zhambyl Regional Philharmonic.
