From now on, tourists will inform
the territorial subdivisions of the Kazakh Emergency Situations Ministry about all
the itineraries. Appropriate requirements will be introduced to organize
immediate search activities and evacuation measures, and provide medical
assistance if necessary, Minister of Culture and Sports Askhat Oralov wrote on
his Facebook account. He added that the standard for marking hiking trails will
be used across the country. All the itineraries will be divided by complexity
and level of travelers’ training, with each category differentiated by its own
color code. Information about the trail’s complexity and necessary requirements
for tourists will be provided at the start of the travel route. It is planned
to install signposts, information boards and stands to help tourists better
navigate and avoid dangerous hikes.
