The newly opened regional technopark, Shymkent Hub, will focus on promoting technological entrepreneurship, fostering a startup culture, and developing IT industries and digital education. Local developers and IT specialists are already planning to implement their projects, with all necessary conditions in place. Some are creating their own drones, while others are developing an application that provides a wealth of useful information, including Kazakh language rules, traffic regulations, historical data, and physical processes. Every developer at Shymkent Hub will receive support from experts. For example, plans are underway to create a new modification of video surveillance systems, including nano-cameras to assist the police in detecting law and order violators and more.
«Overall, you will see an increase in the number of cameras in cities, along with additional algorithms designed to address various use cases,» said Zhaslan Madiyev, Kazakh Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry.
Additionally, the center will serve as a platform for implementing educational and incubation programs from Astana Hub. It will host regular meetings and training sessions to foster a vibrant IT community.
