Housing prices are rising in Kazakhstan. This is evidenced by the data of the country’s Bureau of Statistics. Thus, the monthly price growth in new residential complexes amounted to more than one percent. The weighted average price of one square meter was calculated at 423,705 tenge. The country statistics were affected by price increases in Oskemen, Semei, Nur-Sultan, Shymkent and Almaty. Secondary housing in Kazakhstan has risen in price less, by only 0.4 percent compared to March. Oskemen, Kyzylorda and Kostanai are leading in this category. Overall, from June 2021 to June this year, the prices for secondary housing in the country increased by more than 26 percent, while new apartments became more expensive by 19.5 percent.
