Francophone Spring Festival kicks off in Kazakhstan

For the fourth time, the "Francophone Spring" starts in Kazakhstan. This year the organizers - the embassies of France, Belgium, Canada, Morocco and Switzerland - offer a varied cultural program. In addition to the traditional daily film marathon, a virtual educational fair will take place. For those who wish to plunge into the world of real royal luxury there will be 3D tours of Versailles. A theatrical master class with the Francophones Club, seminars with the participation of the famous French chef, as well as play activities for children are planned. The organizers assure that many interesting and exciting events await the people of Kazakhstan, the main goal of which, as before, is to familiarize them with the cultural values of French-speaking countries.

“This year we are planning to hold our traditional Francophone Spring Festival from March 13 to April 30. Events from French-speaking countries such as France, the Kingdom of Morocco, Belgium, Canada and Switzerland will be presented here. We plan to hold about 50 cultural events throughout Kazakhstan,” said Didier Canesse, French Ambassador to Kazakhstan.
