Foreign investors implement hundreds of projects in Kazakhstan

An integrated gas chemical complex for producing polyethylene is planned to be constructed in the Atyrau region. Additionally, a copper smelting plant with an annual capacity of 300,000 tonnes is set to be built in the Abai region. The largest food and beverage production plant in Central Asia, operated by the globally renowned company Pepsico, will open in the Almaty region in 2026. In Shymkent, the first stage of construction of a large greenhouse complex, in collaboration with Turkish partners, is scheduled for completion this year. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that dozens, even hundreds, of capital-intensive projects aimed at diversifying the economy are being implemented in the country with the participation of foreign investors.
