The history of Kazakhstan is not about the separate fragments. It is a chronicle of thousands of years. The past opens up a continuous line of landmarks of the Great Steppe: the era of the powerful Saks, the civilization of the ancient Turks, the Great Silk Road.
Kazakh people are successors of the Eurasian culture, which once brought to the world the most advanced technologies, outstanding achievements - metallurgy, art of animal style, the Golden Man, a warrior’s costume from about the 5th century BC, equestrian culture, aport apples and beautiful tulips.
A new format of the exhibition of the National Museum of Kazakhstan in Kazan covers these pages of our history, all seven facets of the Great Steppe.
