Creating Astana’s master plan, we considered the wishes of the residents

For almost a year, the capital has been developed and improved according to the new master plan. Just two years ago, Astana was heavily criticized for the lack of sufficient social infrastructure, greenery, public transport, traffic congestion, and more.

What has changed? What is the new development concept for the capital? What practical steps have been taken to improve the city, and what is still in the works? We discussed these topics with Ruslan Zhakupov, General Director of NIPI «AstanaGenPlan,‎» where the new master plan for an ideal Astana was developed.
