A new format for the development of youth volunteering - Friendship Houses in Kazakhstan will be transformed into regional centers supporting charity and volunteering. In the future, they will become platforms where young scientists and businesspeople, in other words, active and patriotic youth of Kazakhstan, will meet for the development and implementation of joint social projects. A cooperation agreement was signed in Nur-Sultan by representatives of youth organizations of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and the Nur Otan party. The meeting participants discussed programs aimed at supporting youth initiatives and, in general, expanding opportunities for the new generation of the country.
“Further education of children is planned for June and we will involve volunteers for this purpose. Next month, that is, in July, the main focus of the volunteers will be the cleaning of the embankment, that is, we will be dealing with environmental issues. And already in August we plan to focus on the issues related to preparation for school, the ‘Road to School’ campaign and additional education of children. That is, we have each month divided thematically. We are going to work according to this plan for the rest of the year,” said Assylzhan Burkitalin, deputy chairperson, ‘Zhas Otan’ youth organization.
