collectors in Kazakhstan. There are approximately the same number of craftsmen
in the country. Each master works in his own unique technique. But the basic
skills of puppeteers are unchanged: they must understand the structure and
chemical properties of materials, have certain knowledge of anatomy, and feel
the texture of fabric.
