Representatives of the IT sphere are
convinced that the future belongs to digital commerce. Therefore, projects
aimed at supporting e-commerce are highly sought after. The best startups for
Central Asian countries were presented at a specialized fair in Astana. Authors
of successful IT solutions from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Mongolia,
Azerbaijan, and Georgia had an opportunity to connect with potential investors,
forge business partnerships, access new markets, and sing contracts. Kazakh
startups focusing on online commerce aroused interest among the event
participants. Domestic inventors presented around 10 innovative developments
that have successfully proved themselves abroad.
“We have presented not only recently
launched projects but also those that have entered other markets. For example,
the ADU 24 project, successfully operating in Hong Kong, and the TrustMe
project, a graduate initiative from our Hero Training program, which has
already made its mark in the United States. There are actually many projects
that generate demand and interest, and they are presented at this event to
showcase Kazakhstan’s level and achievements in this area,” said Madi
Tazhikenov, head of Astana Hub’s international relations and investment office.
“The conditions created for
startups at Astana Hub, along with the existing ecosystems, should become a
benchmark for many countries. We would like to cooperate with Astana Hub to
open an Apple center in Baku, equip a programming training space, and provide
access to free developer tools,” noted Narmin Rahimli, specialist at
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy.
