Kazpost is no longer a traditional postal service: this is the statement made by Asel Zhanasova, who was appointed Chairwoman of the Management Board of the JSC two years ago. The national company is building a new business as a major postal-logistics operator in the region.
We discussed how inherently unprofitable postal services for rural residents fit into this business concept. We also visited the «heart» of the postal service—a major logistics center in the capital, where robots will soon be in operation.
