In Kazakhstan, the nationwide film lecture series “From Chronicle to the Future” continues. This large-scale educational project is being implemented to mark the 30th anniversary of the Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex. From June 15 to 22, original documentary films will be showcased in Aktau, Atyrau, Oral, and Aktobe. Audiences will be presented with the best works of the Documentary Film Center, the in-house production unit of the President’s TV and Radio Complex. Screenings are open to all. In Aktau, screenings of the films “Aral” and “Tamshy” have already taken place. The latter tells the story of local eco-volunteers who, on their own initiative, help preserve the Caspian Sea and its unique wildlife. The filmmakers highlighted the contribution of Kazakh citizens to the implementation of the national environmental initiative of the Head of State, “Taza Kazakhstan.”
«The Caspian Sea requires special attention and
responsible stewardship. This film will help audiences better understand the
importance of preserving this unique water body. For the residents of Aktau,
the protection of the Caspian Sea holds particular significance. The film
clearly demonstrates why safeguarding the sea and its ecosystem is essential
not only for the region but for the entire country. Through this initiative,
more Kazakh citizens will be able to learn about the need to protect the Caspian
Sea as a natural treasure,» said
Aktau resident Nazzhan Sarsenbai.
