Thus, the Kazanat hippodrome is being upgraded to international standards, increasing its capacity from 2,000 to 10,000 spectators to host equestrian events. Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace and the Alau Ice Palace will host national wrestling, martial arts, and folk games. Also, traditional intellectual battles will be held in the Duman complex. The opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games will take place at the Astana Arena stadium.

«Intensive preparations are underway in all areas. Specifically, work is being done on landscaping, asphalt paving, interior finishing, and engineering networks. In total, more than 500 people are involved. The work is planned to be fully completed by August 20, and the facilities will be put into operation on August 23,» said Nurdaulet Kurbanbekuly, Deputy Head of the Construction Department of Astana.

Along with fans of the competitions, over 2,000 athletes and representatives of official delegations are expected to visit the Kazakh capital in September. Hotels, transportation, and catering services have been prepared to welcome the guests. Thus, 272 hotels in Astana are ready to accommodate foreign tourists. The city has been adorned with small architectural constructions that highlight the uniqueness and character of the large-scale event. Sculptures as well as decorative structures and installations have been set up in various parts of the capital.

«All 123 tourist sites are ready to welcome visitors. Also, the Easy Travel international platform is available for foreign travelers. Users can listen to an online guide in six languages and receive detailed information about tourist attractions and architectural landmarks around the city,» noted Tleuzhan Omiruzag, Head of the Investment and Entrepreneurship Development Department of Astana.
