Kazakhstan’s strongman triumphs in U.S. talent show

Kazakhstan’s strongman Sergei Tsirulnikov has advanced to the next stage of the prestigious U.S. TV show America’s Got Talent. He captivated both the jury and the audience with his amazing strength, which included hammering nails into a piece of wood and frying pans with his palm, breaking chains, and bending horseshoes – one of his signature feats. Tsirulnikov is a Guinness World Record holder, six-time record holder of Kazakhstan, and four-time world record holder in strength feats. Over his career, he has participated in numerous international sports events across 34 countries, consistently promoting Kazakhstan’s strength culture.

«I was invited to the U.S. about three months ago. I also received invitations from Germany, the UK, China, and Japan. There were numerous invitations but I chose the U.S. Currently, it has one of the most popular shows in the world, with over 120 million viewers. My main goal was not only to perform but to present the strength culture of our country and showcase our strength feats, the history of our batyrs, and the legacy of Kazakh legendary strongman Kazhymukan Munaitpasov. The American audience received us very warmly, which shows that foreigners are very interested in our culture, our strength culture, and the heritage of our batyrs,» Tsirulnikov shared.
