The French newspaper Le Figaro has published
an article by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev titled «Kazakhstan - A Strategic
and Reliable Partner of France». In the article, the Head of State emphasized
the growing role of «middle powers» in fostering dialogue and stabilizing the situation
on the world stage, with Kazakhstan being one of these countries. For many
years, the state has been actively promoting a balanced foreign policy and
diplomatic initiatives worldwide. President Tokayev also outlined key areas of
cooperation, particularly with French businesses in the fields of green energy,
digital technologies, and logistics. He further highlighted the potential of
the Middle Corridor. Additionally, the Head of State expressed his pleasure at
co-hosting the One Water Summit initiative with President Emmanuel Macron,
aimed at achieving one of the most critical UN Sustainable Development Goals - ensuring
access to clean water.
