Starting this month, Kazakhstan is launching
direct flights to ten countries: Hungary, Germany, Türkiye, Georgia,
Azerbaijan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan, China, South Korea, and Vietnam.
According to the Ministry of Transport, starting in late May, Kazakh citizens
will be able to fly to Budapest, Munich, Shanghai, and Seoul twice a week. A
Kazakh airline is also opening a new route to Da Nang, Vietnam, with flights
operating twice weekly. Additional routes include the Atyrau-Tbilisi-Atyrau
flight launching in late May, and four weekly flights from Almaty to Osh in the
Kyrgyz Republic. There will also be three weekly flights from Atyrau to Baku. Another
airline is set to begin flights to the Chinese city of Ghulja and Türkiye’s
Gazipasa. In addition, an Uzbekistan’s airline launched a new route between
Almaty and Tashkent on May 5.
