Kazakhstan’s satellite to be exported to Mongolia

Kazakhstan will export a satellite fully developed by local engineers to Mongolia, following a recently signed investment agreement aimed at creating and developing an Earth remote sensing satellite system. This satellite is expected to be tailored to Mongolia’s needs, enhancing regional satellite infrastructure. Remote sensing technologies will enable both countries to monitor the state of agricultural lands, manage water resources, and analyze environmental changes more effectively. The project, based at Kazakhstan’s National Space Center, includes the involvement of Mongolian engineers, who will receive training from local specialists across all stages of the satellite system’s development.
