Turkmenistan Economy Days were held in Frankfurt am Main. The two-day event
brought together representatives of ministries and agencies, as well as heads
of major companies and financial institutions from both countries. Participants
discussed prospects for trade and economic cooperation, the development of
industry, transport and logistics, and energy partnerships. Particular
attention was paid to digital transformation and the creation of e-government.
Priority areas of cooperation included innovation, the agricultural sector, and
rational water resource management. Participants also reviewed strategies for
the long-term development of Turkmenistan’s chemical
industry, which is based on the rational use of natural gas and the adoption of eco-friendly technologies. Discussions took place in plenary sessions, B2B and B2G meetings, culminating in the signing of bilateral cooperation documents.
«We offer opportunities and options for modernizing Turkmenistan’s agricultural sector to further increase productivity and ensure food security for the population. Regarding food supply, we look forward to elaborate on our common challenges,» said Per Brodersen, Managing Director of the German Agribusiness Alliance.
«We are an American company and the largest manufacturer of agricultural
machinery on the German market. We are very proud to have been serving the Turkmen market for 30 years. We greatly value our experience and partnerships here,» shared Peter Sachse, John Deere representative in the CIS.
