The Crimean Tatar craftsmen, along with their own skills, have since ancient times adopted the skills of the peoples of the Caucasus, Iran and Central Asia. They have mastered advanced techniques thanks to this. This ancient tradition continues to this day. The whole palette of beauty of traditional Crimean Tatar ornamentalism is represented in architecture, blacksmith's craft, household items and, of course, national clothes. Each detail of the Crimean Tatar costume has its own specific meaning. Today old samples of national clothes are on display in the Crimean Tatar Museum of Cultural and Historical Heritage.
