August Garnsey: In Kazakhstan, I started to change my habits

August Garnsey is part of the US Department of State's international initiative to promote English worldwide. This is not his first visit to Kazakhstan, so he was able to appreciate Kazakh traditions, comprehend the importance of family ties in a country in the heart of Eurasia, and even find a bride, and not just any bride, but one from the very traditional South.

The viewer together with him will attend classes with students at the Eurasian National University, have fun in the American Corner, walk along the amazing Atyrau Bridge over the Yesil River, which is shaped like a silver sturgeon, and even relax in a luxurious wooden house in a country recreation area on the Nura River .

Meet the next hero of the My Day in Kazakhstan program, August Garnsey!
