The World Bank Group has announced its new Climate Change Action Plan, pledging to provide major increases in climate finance for developing countries. The new 2021-2025 Climate Change Action Plan broadens World Bank Group efforts from investing in “green” projects to helping countries fully integrate their climate and development goals. How can the World Bank help Kazakhstan in its transition to a green economy? How realistic is Kazakhstan’s ambition to become carbon neutral by 2060?
